Introduction
On this page, you will find free web applications (web apps) that run on all operating systems (desktop, tablet, smartphone) without installation in the browser. The apps can also be launched directly via the URLs provided below. All apps can be operated entirely with one finger on touch-enabled devices (e.g., smartphones or tablets). An existing pen or mouse can of course also be used.
Cross-sectional properties and stresses of thin-walled cross-sections
The duennQs web application can be used to calculate cross-sectional values and stresses of thin-walled
cross-sections. The
centerline model (wire model) is applied and the finite element method is used to solve the problem. The
cross-section is described similarly to
a truss structure by several straight elements that are connected to each other via nodes. Information
about the application can be found under the Info tab in the app.
This app supports the german and english language. If the browser language is not set to german, it will
switch to english language.
